Point the rear camera at your customer and virtual frames sit on their face in real time, follow head movement and scale to their pupil distance. Measure, capture looks, keep a customer record and hand over a PDF summary.
What it does
Try frames on, live
Round, rectangle, cat-eye, aviator and browline styles in acetate, metal, tortoise and crystal colourways, drawn on the face as it moves. Filter by shape, by fit against the measured face width, or by name. The app comes with a sample catalog of 11 frames.
Measure
Calibrate with a standard bank or ID card, or with the customer's current glasses. Far PD with a stated ± tolerance, approximate face width, and suggested front width, eye size and bridge. It's a styling measurement, not a prescription or dispensing measurement: verify PD with a pupillometer or PD ruler before ordering lenses.
Customer records
Name, notes, favourite frames, measurement history and captured looks. Show a look full screen, and share a PDF summary with your store name from the share sheet.
Made for iPhone Duo
- Open iPhone Duo and hold it toward the customer: they see a live mirror with the frame on the outer display, while you work on the inner display with the catalog and the measurements.
- Closing iPhone Duo pauses the fitting and keeps the customer, frame and measurement for when you open it again.
Private
No in-app purchases, subscriptions, ads or accounts, and no data collected. Customer records and images are stored only on the device, excluded from backups and protected while the device is locked; nothing leaves it unless you share a PDF.

Can I try on my own frames?
No. Chairside tries on its 11 built-in frame styles (shape, material and colour), not your own inventory.
