Privacy Policy

GM Screen doesn't collect, sell or share any personal data. It has no accounts and no servers, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Who we are

GM Screen (the “app”) is made by Ansmate Bilisim Danismanlik Egitim Hizmetleri Ithalat Ihracat Limited Sirketi (“Ansmate”, “we”). Ansmate is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy, under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). What we collect through the app

Nothing. The app never sends data to us or to anyone else on our behalf. It contains no third-party code that collects data: no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software. It doesn't use the advertising identifier and doesn't track you across apps or websites. On the App Store, its privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

What stays on your device

Your campaigns, encounters, notes, scenes and the images you import are stored only on this device, in GM Screen's own storage. The app also keeps a few settings there: the table or device name you choose, the campaign you last opened, and which camera Table Mode uses. Like any app's data, they can be part of your device backups. Deleting a campaign removes it; deleting the app removes everything.

Camera (Table Mode)

In Table Mode the camera shows your dice tray on this screen so you can read physical dice. The video is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. A frozen still of the tray is kept in memory only until you return to the live view or leave Table Mode. On iPhone Duo, the players' view on the outer display is shown by the same device.

Local network (Player Display)

When you start Player Display, GM Screen sends the players' view — scene art, initiative order, public health, shared rolls and announcements — directly to nearby devices running GM Screen, over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Nothing is sent over the internet, and nothing reaches us. While you host, anyone nearby running GM Screen can join and watch; you can see who is connected and stop hosting at any time. Secrets are never sent: hidden combatants, stat blocks, notes, secret conditions and secret rolls stay on your device. The table or device name you choose is shown to the other devices.

Photos and files

GM Screen sees only the photos and files you pick, and keeps copies of them inside the app. It doesn't ask for access to your photo library. Exports are files that you choose to share or save.

Third parties

We don't share data with anyone, because the app gives us none. Apple provides the App Store and the operating system under its own privacy policy. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us crash reports and app usage statistics in a form that doesn't identify you; the app itself doesn't collect them.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to answer you. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, don't share it with anyone, and delete it sooner if you ask.

Your choices and rights

• You can turn off GM Screen's access to the camera or the local network at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security (Camera, Local Network) or in Settings > Apps > GM Screen. Table Mode or Player Display then stop working; everything else keeps working.
• Your data is under your control on your device: delete a campaign in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
• Because the app sends us nothing, we hold no app data about you. Under GDPR and KVKK you may still ask us about any personal data we hold (for example, a support email), and ask us to correct or delete it, at info@databin.net. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

GM Screen collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on this page, with a new date at the top.
